With my nutrition consults we’ll work together for 1 to 3 months to allow you to understand your body and how food works for you. All while keeping your favourite foods in rotation (in moderation of course).

Dr. Sommerville’s program was exactly what I needed to help restore my relationship with food. She was personable, easy to talk to, and really took time to review my medical history, lifestyle, interests and hobbies in order to understand my relationship with food from a psychological perspective. She took a phased approach to implementing my diet changes and made sure to include foods I loved and was familiar with. This made implementing these changes much easier and much more sustainable. She gave a really wide variety of different meal ideas and included detailed recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks that were simple and easy to follow. She helped me overcome my fear of certain foods and taught me to view food , not just as calories but as a way to fuel and heal my body. I would definitely recommend this program.

Dr. Sommerville really tackles your case holistically – she took a detailed history and was able to shed insight about areas in my life that were contributing to my stress level and inadvertently impeding my weight struggle. I tried her plans to the best of my ability – I didn’t get as much exercise as we both would’ve liked, but after just one month I’m down a size and more importantly feel better with some of my chronic ailments.
